Training and development

We’ve put training and development opportunities in place not only to improve our business but also to challenge, motivate and reward our staff.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is provided for all staff, from apprentices to management, to ensure they continue to develop their skills. Training needs are assessed and plans put into place for them to learn and grow through in-house training, practical shadowing of more experienced team members and/or external training courses.

Five of our senior managers are using Growth Accelerator, which ensures they all work towards a single goal of helping the business grow, while developing their personal and professional skills. We are also sponsoring some of our management team members through Masters degrees.

Health and Well-being

We work hard to look after the health and well-being of our employees in the workplace and at home with their families.
Central to this is ensuring our staff achieve a great work life balance and wherever possible, we offer a flexible approach to staff working hours to ensure it’s maintained.

In addition to this we recognise and reward long-standing and loyal employees – two of them recently became directors – and offer incentives to those employees who give up smoking.
