The office is located in a grade 2* listed fort built to protect the ports in the area from the ambitions of emperor Napoleon III. The fort hosts ghost tours and has even been used for warehouse raves in the early 90’s. fort-horsted-images-2

Over the years ASKAMS have increased their national presence within the asbestos consultancy market. Providing a highly efficient service that exceeds our clients’ expectations without compromising on quality.

The decision has been made to further expand the company and we are now opening an office and laboratory within the South East. This will take our regional offices to a total of 6 and laboratories to 4; enabling us invest in our clients and provide them with the service that is synonymous with our vision –

‘To Be the UK’s Leading Compliance Consultancy’

The new office will be run by our new Southern Operations Manager Lewis Leopard who has worked in the asbestos industry for the last 15 years as a consultant and project manager across a wide

range of sectors including construction, government, retail, healthcare and the rail industry.

Lewis brings a wealth of experience to ASKAMS in the work he has done as a consultant; leading asbestos abatement projects, providing technical specifications and cost analysis services. After

being given a little bit of time to settle into the company Lewis is impressed by the level of enthusiasm, energy and the ‘can do attitude’ of all within the organisation. He is quoted as saying

“I would like to think that my experience within the industry can provide fresh impetus and ideas to a growing business and compliment the team as a whole”

Joining the company at the start of September it is Lewis’ responsibility to develop our client base in the London and South East regions whilst maintaining existing relationships that have grown over the last few years. Having previously opened and grown a successful regional office for another organisation Lewis is looking forward to the challenge and welcomes the opportunity to play a part in our continuing growth.
